Yoctangee Park has been reserved, the entertainment is lined up, volunteers are scheduled, and now it's time for you to mark your calendars for July 5,6,7,8th. Plan to be in Chillicothe to participate in the next CHS All Class Reunion.

The fun doesn't start until July 6th. You will have July 4th and 5th to visit and celebrate the holiday with your family and friends. The city pool will be open and there will be fireworks.

All reunion activities will take place in Yoctangee Park except the following two activities. On Thursday July 5th, Kevin Coleman, local historian, will offer bus tours of historic Chillicothe for a small fee. A tour of the high school and possibly Smith will be offered.

On Friday, July 6th, the fun starts! Registration will take place in the Lion's Shelter in the park. An alumni art exhibit will be availabe at the Pump House Center for the Arts during the reunion. There will be music provided throughout the day with a DJ. There will be a fish fry 3 - 7pm with a cost of $7.00. There will be a Boogie on the Blacktop Friday Evening in the Elks parking lot with music provided by JB & The Downshifts and The Wegians. Doors open at 6PM -12MN.

There will be lots of activity on Saturday, July 7th. Registration continues in the Lion's Shelter and the Alumni Art Exhibit will be available. We have not forgotten the children and grand children. There will be inflatables, face painting, arts and crafts. The Distinguished Alumni Ceremony will be at 1PM at the grandstand. Saturday evening from 10PM - 12MN Lem Ott, DJ, will provide music in the Elk's parking lot.

The festivities will come to an end on Sunday morning with a pancake breakfast including bacon or sausage, OJ and coffee.

The planning committe decided it would not be fiscally responsible to provide decade tents at the reunion since there was little utilization of the tents at the last All Class Reunion. There will be one large tent provided and we will have the use of the Rotary Shelter. It is the responsibility of the individual classes to make arrangements for their get togethers in the park. It is permissible to have tents if individuals or classes wish to provide them. Bring your lawn chairs and plan to enjoy the shade of the many trees in the park. .Hope to see all of you in the park in July!
